Beat The Odd's

Alright. I felt like I wanted to post this. I'm sorry if anyone changes how they view me over it.

Today July 21'st 2010 is a celebration day for me. On this day 13 years ago? I stopped doing chemical drugs, and have remained clean all this time. I beat the odds. At the time? I was in really bad shape. 5'8, and 85#. The Dr's didn't think I was going to survive. Yet I fought to get myself back, and I did. No methadone for life and yea...I now weigh more, and take good care of my body.

So If anyone ever thinks that they cant surpass something just because its 'hard'? I am living proof that you can do anything you put your mind to! I'm now much healthier, and have two wonderful kids.

Anyways. Off to celebrating with tea. -snicker-.. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well sis... your post DOES change my view of you very much.

I dislike users of illicit drugs. I dislike their existence, their sales and distribution, and I dislike those who profit from their use and existence.

So yes... my view of you has changed.

I am even more proud to hold you close as a family member for your ability to break free of those shackles, rise up, and become the Woman you have become. My sis is loved!!! Continue on course and earn even higher esteem and respect.

They are nothing more than leeches. Scum sucking pricks who would care less about anyone but themselves. I will never be proud of that part of my past bro. Ever. Only proud of beating that life, and gaining an awesome one.

I agree with Rags whole heartedly, Sarant. I had a stepfather that was an alcoholic and used marijuana. if he used other drugs I wouldnt know nor do I care as he is no longer in My live and hasnt been for almost 20 years. granted, they arent as bad as some of the other drugs out on the street but still. while I was a young child, I went through experiences that no child should ever witness. due to his lifestyle, the drugs and alcohol, he abused My mother, one instance I saw first hand.

dont ever for one minute think that We will look at You in disgust or loathing. anyone that does, in My opinion is not worthy of having You as a Friend. You took charge of Your life and turned it around completely. be proud of that and who You are as a Person inside as well as out.

Thank you everyone. Each and every word, ment more to me than you all will ever know. -wipes eyes-. Each and every one of you? I see as family. This time of year is very difficult. In r/t? I am alone with no family nearby. No lifelong friends to turn to from moving all over this forsaken planet. Feeling honored isn't even enough of a word to describe how I feel about you all.

Though through this time. I am turning to family, and regardless of how difficult and stubborn I can be. There are still those there with strong shoulders, and I thank you all for it.
