spi, you aren't alone in the watch and wait to see how hard it hits and where. I am hoping against hope that Earl turns slightly more to the east and misses the east coast, but I have this feeling that we won't be that lucky. As long as we don't get what we did with Ida last year, I will be thankful.
I have been through a Category 1 hurricane that turned into a tropical storm as it hit the coast, it was still not the best thing to interfere in what was a beautiful week in Mazatlan at the family's hotel, with friends and family.

We will be here when Earl leaves, as soon as he realizes he wasn't welcomed in the first place, and Fiona will hopefully take the hint as well and not come by for a visit either and instead take the path that Danielle did.. ~crosses fingers and goes back to monitoring the tropics on the 3 sites I am currently living at~
