Happy Halloween

or

Happy All Hollows Eve

Or whatever you celebrate. I hope it is filled with screams of fright and laughter, for those of you who celebrate this night with passing out candy to the scary, beautiful and odd costumed children of the neighborhood. This year was the first time in nearly 10 years I handed out candy to those who came by the house, I saw some really awesome costumes and now I am one pooped candy outed woman, but it was worth it.

I am hoping to get a call sometime during the night that my niece is on the way to the hospital to have my grand nephew, who was due yesterday, but is being a typical baby and has decided he doesn't want to come out to meet his new family. There were hopes he would be a Halloween baby, but alas, I doubt that is to happen, besides his father was adamant about his son being born on this day. ~chuckles~ And my dad's hopes of having his great grandson born on his birthday (October 29) also didn't come to be.

So hopefully there will be another post tomorrow announcing the birth of my grand nephew. ~crosses fingers because Ray and I have November 1 @ 2:00 am~

With the kids giggling and enjoying being out at night. Was enough for me.  :)
