Hello everyone. I am the first to admit I do not understand everything about Gorean role play. Though I do continue to learn, and try to understand the customs, and important rules for IC within the rooms...
I figure some need a little refresher on certain simple things that are done in the room...
1 - Free's and slaves alike? Do all greetings in PRIVATE MESSAGES. I was told this and have never forgotten. I would like to see it continued. Even with Ubar and his Second being offline for now.
2 - If your character is going to leave camp for an extended amount of time? It is 'normal' to at the very least to let the Ubar know about what is transpiring, and to converse with him. Outside of disappearing.
3 - The OOC board is for Out Of Character posts, and the IC board is for In Character posts. I understand some get confused at times? But is the best to remember that. So others do not get confused with your postings, or actions.
I do apologize. This post is very directed at things and people I have noticed lately. Though I will not apologize for what is said here. Anywhere else in Gor mistakes are not tolerated. So following that and the basic rules for MTC (that are posted on a website). I believe they should be followed strictly.
I hope this post was informative, and refreshing for others. It's important for us to hold up to the rules that were bestowed to us in the first days of rping in MTC, and only right we strive to uphold them. right?
