Announcement - Physicals

-Walks out to the main camp from the medical wagon carrying a rolled up scroll, unrolling it, I tack it up onto the main post. Re-reading it, nodding once, I turn and head back to the medical wagon to get back to work on clan duties-

Everyone is now due for physicals. Starting tomorrow night (Friday night), the healers would appreciate it if you didn't have to be chased or hunted down.

So we are going to ask please that you come in and get them done, for those who own personal slaves, if you would like your kajira to have their dosage of slave wine, could let me know by signing your name on this notice.

I should be returning to the Inner Circle wagons late this afternoon, as I was called out for a hard birth and to see a friend for the last time, as he succumbed to his injuries received during Winter Migration the year before. I will be expecting all those who are due, and at this point that is everyone, to be heading to the medical wagon around an ahn before the sun sets on the plains. I have also extended the end date for the physicals to be done by, if you are unable to see me during the beginning of this hand, myself and the other healers will be expecting you no later than the end of this hand, as we have much to do then to stand around waiting while the last stranglers find their way to the medical wagon, by either force or reluctance.

(In all seriousness people, myself and the other healers, really do not wish to have to chase you down to have your physical done, as it will not take more than 15-20 minutes of your night to come in, some may take a bit longer as they have never been processed before, to be checked over and have your blood drawn.)

When I am able to be in the inner circle wagons for longer than a few ahns, I will be looking for those who are due their physicals, which means every single one of you.

(Am dealing with a bug or something. that has taken me out for the past couple of days and seems to be getting worse. Am now going to go lay back down and get some more rest. Love you my family)

Am hoping that things settle down in the outer circle of camp, since I really need to get started on getting those in the inner circle their physicals done. If things continue to be as busy as they have been during the past hand or two, I am starting to lose count as that is how busy things have been, but I haven't forgotten about those of you that I care for each and everyday, I have others who I can have take my place out here, so I can get the ball rolling, so to speak, in terms of physicals.

I do know that some of you are in no hurry to have them done, but they will be done and I should be in the inner circle medical wagon in the next two days (Friday evening) and I am hoping to get everyone done by the end of the hand (by Sunday night). For those of you I have spoken to about training, I will be talking to you about what I will be training you to do when you come in for your physicals, this way I can kill two birds with one stone.

-glancing behind me as I see my thralls have gathered the supplies I had returned for, I nod at them then turn back to the note I was writing and finish it-

( OOC I would like to apologize to my family for not completing the physicals back in August, but r/t took me away until recently. I have returned to camp full time, I will be in the room from around 9ish to midnight or later, how long I stay depends on how early I have to be up the following morning. /OOC )

We would like to ask that those who still have their physicals to be done to come and see us by the end of this hand. As our clan is a bit behind schedule, we would like to get these out of the way before migration begins, if you think you can hold off and say I will wait until after migration is over, that's not going to happen. If we are able, we will take you off duty, escort you to the medical wagon and give you your physical.

This is from me, Senior Healer, Taryn Iona. I would like to apologize again for taking so long to get these going and finished, as they should have been done a couple months ago, but things got in the way and until I was reminded the other night, I actually had forgotten to do them. Things have been that hectic. Now to the root of my problem with things, I know many of you have a lot of work to do with your clans, and other camp duties, but I do not want to take time out and chase those of you who need to get their physicals done for this year. I am not going to sit back and say, oh well, you missed doing this year, we will just get to you next year. NO! That is not going to happen anymore, I am tired of this crap happening, it's not a big thing, it will take maybe an ahn or two to have it taken care of and you are done until the next year. This is the clan's way to find out if there are any problems, we can get to the root of the problem, fix it before it turns into something major. We are here to keep camp healthy, not as a form of torture. Yes, I have been holding these thoughts inside for awhile now, but now I am letting it out for all to hear.

I have also offered to train those of camp some first aid, so if something happens in camp you can help out until a healer is able to get to you. That is still on the table for those interested, but I would like to get everyone trained in a little bit of first aid. Though I have a feeling that will have to wait until after migration, and I am fine with that, as there isn't enough time to really get much done with the physicals and getting our clan ready for migration.

Finally, please, please, please, do not wait until the last minute to get your physicals done, having myself or another healer chase you down will not end good. Just get it done and over with, that's all I can ask and will ask.

( Rags and Raz, if you have a problem with this post let me know and I will change it, or you can take out what you feel is over the line. I had express what I have been feeling for the past few days and it finally hit the boiling point. After being promised by someone that they would be in the next night to get their physical done and it's now 2 nights later and no appearance, it upsets me just a little bit. But the main thing is that there are those who will sit back and wait, wait, and wait until it's too late to have their physical done. As I am the only one who is running the clan, though Raziel does help out when he can, he's not fully part of the clan, I am, so it falls to my shoulders and over time, things have set me off, so I have plans on changing things in the near future in the clan, that I will be talking with both of you about to see how my thoughts pan out for the clan. )
