Absence
« on: May 08, 2012, 09:11:00 PM »
Due to the new medications my doctor has put me on, I have been out of sorts to the point that I found myself sleeping almost 20 - 23 hours Sunday. I am hoping things settle down soon, because if this goes on for the entire 8 weeks, I may go either insane or worse sane. Am hoping that my mind clears a bit so I can come into camp and complete something I have been planning for about two weeks.

Know that I miss my family a lot and am trying to figure a way around this road block of sorts. -huggggggles and then curses typing via touch pad on cell phone-

Things are still really wonky, to the point that if they don't settle down by the end of the weekend, I will be making an emergency appt to see our doctor. Am starting to wonder if the 50,000 units of Vitamin D might be the culprit of me wanting to do nothing but sleep. -shrugs and goes to crawl into bed as I realize I made it to 8 hours being awake for the first time in 5 days-

This is really starting to SUCK!

I have completely pulled myself off the vitamin D and B12 pills, though I have been told by my doctor that it could take up to up to a month for it to clear my system. Though I am still sleeping a lot, I am able to stay awake longer than 8 hours, in fact, this weekend I stayed awake for almost 18 hours, but that was due to playing a game that Ray got me interested in. My concentration is still low, but again, nothing like it was, but everything will be talked over with my doctor when I see him in 2 weeks and will find a new path to take to get my levels up to where they should be. -sighs softly-

As time goes on, I will let my family know what is going on. Know that I love and miss you all and hope to be back in full form again soon. -leaves a pile of hugggggggggggggggles and heads back out-

Instead of taking up more space up in the thoughts and prayer thread, I am going to update everyone here instead.

I am slowly starting to feel like myself, some days I can stay active for most of the day, then there are days where I want to do nothing but sleep all day and night. I am more than likely going to ask my doctor about a couple of tests that were suggested to me by my aunt, who only recently learned she had an auto-immune disorder, as does her eldest daughter and eldest son. When she and I have talked during the past week, she said it's like looking at a list of signs and symptoms that she experienced shortly before she was diagnosed. So that is now on my list of things to talk about to him when I see him next month.

I am hoping that either tomorrow night or the following night I will be making my way into camp and hopefully will be able to start the role play I was itching to do when things went to hell in a hand basket. -rolls my eyes- At least while I have been working back to my normal state of mind, if that is even possible, I have been able to plot and plan things out a bit better. -grins sweetly, then perks up as dinner is finally here as that is the one thing that has returned at last-

I am still pushing to be in tomorrow night, but since I have had a slight set back that might not happen. Just going to take it step by step and if I am able to come in I will be in camp, but it all depends on how things are going for myself. I really would love to come back into camp now, but it's not going to happen, sadly.

I'm sorry, was hoping to start doing something that might bring in more people into camp, but it keeps getting set back. -sighs and heads back to bed-

Okay my absence will be until tomorrow night or Monday, it all depends on when I will be released from the hospital. They still don't know if it's Celiac Disease or something having to due with my autoimmune system. I would kill for a hamburger or any type of my favorite foods, but as they are still running tests, I am stuck with whatever they are feeding me through the tube in my arm, luckily the other tube came out earlier today, though still no food. -sighs and grumbles- I need to go, just wanted to let my family here know what was going on and why I suddenly disappeared after posting the information about the point supply trip.
