question about currency

ok i do know we  use copper and  silver and other currency, but how do we  "earn" it or do we do raids to get it or what?
For if i go broke to make purchases or whatever how would i get this moneies to things or buy things?

You're supposed to be getting paid for clan work.  If ya aren't, you should probably have a discussion with your clan elder regarding that.  If you're broke though, you can probably get a loan from someone.

Yeah, I have that stuff buried all over the place.  The Sardar Mountains, the deserts, the plains, The Northern Forests, I've got a rather large stash buried at my fortress of solitude in the Voltais.  Never really had a use for the stuff.  They just weigh your pouches down.

As for coinage in Tuchuk, you will be hard pressed to find any except in that which you are given for your Clan work, but other than that, most of Tuchuk does not accept coin as Raziel stated, it is only good for weighing down your pouches. Instead, look to barter something of yours for services rendered, whether it be furs, something that is in your possessions or perhaps another service (training a sleen, helping out with repairs, or just being there to talk).

There are many different ways and items you can do to barter, just thinking or talk it out with the person you are bartering with and I am sure you will both come up with something that is fair and adequate for whatever it is you are seeking. Also if you are still in need of a new wagon, see Nicolas Tabar as he's the Clan Elder for the Carpenters/Builder's Clan and I am sure the two of you can work something out for such.

Also, I know there are times, like when the camp goes to turia or the point, that each person is given a stipend, while we don't have much use for coins on a day to day basis, Ubar still has a treasury.

if there is anything specific that you need, you could always make a post about it in the particular clan thread, im sure arrangements can be made.

I think if he had anything to trade it was washed away in the River of Tears, which is why he was offering coin (and even ST offers coin for most things).
