My Lair Leader told me to go to the Cove, and negotiate a deal with a ship captain to sell them in Turia, which would take a while to get there. I went, and spoke to Marcus, and he, reluctantly, decided to make the voyage. There would be some time traveling by wagon, but I promised him a fair share of the profit. I was quite pleased, when I reported back to my Lair Leader, until she said that I needed to go along, and watch over the transaction. I was one of the few in the Lair who could read, write, and cypher, so I had to agree. I didn't like what I had heard of Southern Women...that they all wore veils and such...but I was assured that my Tribal clothing would be fine, since the leggings, boots, and tunicdress did cover my body. I was also assured that it would be OK to leave my face uncovered."

We had a very nice journey by wagon, he guided a wagon and I rode a kaiila near him...*S*...Marcus doesn't know how to ride...during the evenings, while we all camped, and ate, I began feeling something I hadn't felt in years, as I gazed at Marcus...our first meeting was over a fire...*S*

But, I had seen other screens set up, and Marcus explained that the Turian FW kept their faces covered, and the Privacy Screens allowed them to eat, with their Companion or Escort. *S* The repast was wonderful...it started out with spiced prawns on toasted sa-tarna bread, and then got even better. By the time we finished eating, I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay in the Jungle much longer. Marcus did respect me, and escorted me safely to my room." I smile at you. "Aye, you should see Turia, at least once. It is amazing...tall, cylindrical towers, and high walls, and the people."

I did turn away from the table of goods, and went over towards her, and asked what she meant by her last remark. She repeated her comment, that Red Savage women were only fit to be slaves, and I 'went savage'. I reached up and tore her headdress from her head, face stripping her, and told her that she was so ugly that she needed to keep her face covered, and then I slapped her...next thing I knew, the Guards had pulled me away, and my ass was in in cage.

Each time, she would come back, and whisper that she couldn't find him...

I shrieked at him, and he just waved me down...I was furious...He visited with the man for a while, and then, as an afterthought, asked him about the "Savage" in the cage. The Guard laughed, and related what I had done, and added that the Lady Lydia did have it coming to her. The guard also nodded, saying that he was going to bid on me, himself, he thought I would have a lot of passion in the furs. Marcus, did laugh at the remark, and brought out the rence paper that showed that I was a Merchant, and in his entourage, and apologized for my behavior, and handed the Guard the silvers. The Guard did look disappointed, but let me out, and had Marcus sign the release form, and Marcus led me away.
