I might not be of the Camp, but would love to attend if I had the funds and the equipment.

However, I know this would be a tent even old Ragnar would approve of!

Of course, there is also this one as well:

LOL I do like, if I were to live in it for a month or more or have others sharing it!!!!! I am actually more along the lines of simple, functional, quick and easy setup and teardown.

What I think would totally rock, would be one of those inflatable jump houses moored to the dock at the lake. Rectify the buoyancy issues, anchor it and moor it securely, use solar power to operate a small electric motor to maintain quiet constant inflation.

When ready to leave, shut off the pump, up anchor, cast off mooring lines, pull it ashore and roll that sucker up. Throw it in the bed of the truck and away we go. LOL

As it is, we will just stick to our vardo'ish trailer.

I do like it!!!!!

It would rock if there were a few people to share the huge one!!!!!

Even is two people, or two pairs shared the second one it would be great!!!!!

Would also mean additional hands to set up and tear down.

And that, my old friend, is the hardest part of camping. Is why I like backing the wagon into place, unhitching, setting the stands, drop down the porch, and we can camp.If we get fancy, we open the awnings out the sides and can utilize them for additional space if needed. Otherwise, a popup canopy suffices.

Though the wagon is still a constant work in progress, it is, and will continue to be a very self contained system. Quick and easy to set up, and about ten to fifteen minutes from start of teardown to being on the road.

I do have a few designs I came up with for even smaller compact sleeping trailers that look as though they would be ideal for Gatherings. But as yet, I have not built them. BUT... They seem sound in theory and on paper. *S* My goal is to be able to build them and sell them for the cost of a nice tent, but will do away with the common issues tents have.

When I can do this, I will sell them to family at cost of materials for no profit other than seeing my family at Gatherings enjoying themselves.

All they will need to do is have a hitch on their vehicle with a light jack, and get their plate for it. (And of course put their own belongings in the various places that will be built in for such. They will have electric hookups and modern lighting inside and out. Sleeper cabs more or less with bonuses. *W*
