Thassa Venture

[RAGNAR]

The main area of Tuchuk has set out for the Southern coast to Thassa. It will take a couple days to arrive, but with luck good things are in store for those making the journey.

The column has stopped and will be moving again at first light.

The column stopped for the night, and Thassa can be seen and heard below the cliff.

When the column moves at first light, it will move down the path to the beach and immediately set the watch and begin settling in for a stay.

The column has reached the beach!!!

The 1st Oralu has relieved Cassius' Oralu that have been holding the beach area and the heights above it. They are returning to camp, or remaining to relax depending on their individual desires.

The column is read to begin setting up to stay for awhile and relax, enjoy the beach, explore, and indulge in other various activities. (Role play paused at midday)

Set up and start a main fire, park the carts and wagons and set up the shades. Unharness the bosk and move them back up to the clifftops where they too can graze and enjoy.

Do stay close around the main area until The 1st can sweep the area again and make sure it is secure, then when that is done, ENJOY!!!!!

The area has been secured by a rotating watch, and all has been set up for a stay. The carts, wagons, and shelter shades have been set up well away from the tidal surf allowing additional distance should a storm cause even greater waves.

Dugg and the girls gathered crab from the beach side of the reef and we shall dine in style.

RP paused as evening set in and the torches were lit and the fire built up. It will continue with preparing for evening meal and a night of relaxation.

Izee and ships from Scagnar arrived and assistance was given offloading and setting them up with us.

Everyone feasted on fresh boiled crab and melted bosk butter, and boiled clams in seaweed on a bed of katch, with assorted drinks.

All but the watch turned in after a very long day with hopes of an even more enjoyable tomorrow in store for all.

Addendum...

Dugg was located and dug free of the sand where several kajira decided to bury him in time for evening meal.

Gustav and Temujin have started a game of kassia, so scratch those two off the duty roster.

All is going rather well at Thassa.

A storm at sea did send some things to the beach via the surf and the items were gathered. Most of the drinks were gathered by Linna and dora, consisting of fine wine from Cos, standard quality Cos wine, palm wine, ale, and a few cases of paga. It is surmised it was a trade/cargo ship making the trade rounds. There was also rigging ropes, sailcloth and other miscellaneous items salvaged. A few seamen did wash ashore but were taken up on the clifftop and given a pyre, and their ashes given to Thassa.

The cave has been explored, and deemed safe enough if one is careful. Some goods were found stashed within, and are available for those wishing them. Please bear in mind that anything gained is permitted to be kept though 10 % of value does need to go to the camp funds to assist with resupply and various other expenses.

Continue to enjoy the venture, and be assured more adventure is in store.

The looting of the serpent ships has begun. The first ship has been looted and is being disassembled for reclamation purchases.

The second ship is being looted, (RP paused) but will not be disassembled. The 2nd and 3rd ships will be given to Izee and Lancer after looting, so do not damage them.

The column pulled out and continued onward throughout the day and night to reach camp with only periodic stops to tend the stock. The column should reach camp in the wee ahns of the morn.
