(thread originally started by Master Kan)

Ok, Not at all sure really if this has been done before, most likely it HAS, but I'm gonna do it again just because it's the way I am, -g- anyways,  everyone seems to have a diverse taste in Music, and well, would like to hear Everyones take in what they listen to, Now not sure if I explained it good enough, a long trip makes brain slow, But it doesn't have to be short or big, it's whatever You feel You wish to place on here, I just got some new Music from My Sister an well, I always like getting new music, SO without further blabbering here's what I recommend.

System of a Down
Revis
Lo-Pro
Velvet Revolver
Flaw
Black Lable Society
Damage Plan
From Autumn to Ashes
Killswitch Engage
Ra
Scars for Life
Shadows Fall
Sloth
Spineshank
Strata

Some is known some is not, some is Hard some is Not, -g- that's not My whole list, but it's a start! love to hear what Y'all listen to!

depends on My mood at the time.......

see, I'm an old straight out of the mtv club scene Woman back in the day........and those days included well.........club music, top 40 and reggae, and dancehall reggae, latino and trance...

to this day you'll still find Me dancing while doing the dishes LOL

however, lately its been country.....and country chart music.....

but then in the other moods, there is sarah machlachlan, enya, dido, spanish guitar, caribbean steel drums......

and then there's My eighties moods........My all time favorite song is come on Eileen.........and Prince LOL, rasberry beret just rocked way back then....

and then there's My seventies moods, which dont come to often, but well.........LOWRIDER is My second all time favorite song LOL Rags used to play it for Me all the time back when He did the gor show LOL.......

and I still chair dance while chatting LOL.........music is the rythm of life.....I cant be without it.........

so basically the music fits the mood, except for the old twangy twang whining country, and elevator garbage.

hmmmmm....guess that my eclectic tastes might actually be normal then from the looks of all these lists..lol..then again...
like alot of others, music seems to reflect the mood of the moment...the different energies that flow through life just pull in so many directions...

absoulutly love old blues and jazz~Billie Holliday, Duke Ellington and the like
even early country...Patsy Cline, even yes, dare i admit this...Hank Sr.
love the 50's early rock and roll...Little Richard, Fats Domino, ect ect
the 60's stuff...all of it, motown, Zepplin, the Who, Elvis, The Beatles, and so on.....
70's metal, funk, soul, southern rock, punk, and even a bit of disco(blame than on mom when i was a wee brat~nods lots~)
the 80's...all of it
the 90's ...Queensreich, Nirvana, Metallica(before they sold out), Smashing Pumpkins(before they sold out)....ect...
and yeah...cant forget reggae, rap, and dance stuff...and classical...something about the complexity of the melodies just sooths my soul...
anyways....guess the music reflects the many facets of my personality~shrugs~..thanks Master...this is a great thread....~s~

Well, Music has always been a key thing in My life -s- and I'm also glad to see it doing so well, and above all else, there is nothing negative in it, That is what I'm loving because I try to be possitive, so far so good!   ;D
