This blows.
« on: February 24, 2006, 06:47:37 PM »
Affective from today the 24th of February until the middle of April, I will be...well...online every once great while.  The reason for this boils down to four things.  The biggest thing is Lent.  For those who are unaware, this is the great genius thing that people do for forty days and nights, and results in places that sell fish, being extremely busy.  I work at Long John Silvers.  We sell fish.  Alot of fish.  Not only does Lent start next Wednesday, the 1st of March, but I also live in the state capitol of Iowa.  Which means we inevitably host the Boy's State Wrestling Tournament, Girls State Basketball Tournament, and Boys State Basketball Tournament, all within three weeks, in that order, bringing about 280,000 extra people to Des Moines.  This means that no only do we get the Lent people, but we also get the influx of 280,000 other Lent people.  This means that the management team (which I'm part of) at my Long John Silvers.....works about 60 hours a week, woo....hoo.  I'm sorry if I'm not around alot, or if I'm too damned tired to come into Camp until April or so, but I'll still be on messengers for the duration.  Thanks.

Hey, no one understands more than Me, Kiddo. Been away Myself for much the same reasons (Febuary and March are notoriusly busy times in the car biz, which this One hopes means $ in His pocket). That, plus the fact I have been real sick. Yes, AGAIN. Anyways, before I venture off in a tirade on how bad it is getting older, I will just restate, I understand. If we hook up, cool, if not, well, them's the damn breaks. I ain't going nowhere  ;)
