This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday morning I woke up bright and early, slipped into my sweats and headed for Central Park. No sign of Rachel so I ran with Mary McGrath, the romance novelist that just returned from Paris. She was bubbling over about her latest novel which should be out in June,  "Central Park". She gave me an evil grin saying my character had a nice little part in the novel.

Rachel was waiting at the Palm Court when I got there. She repeatedly assured me that nothing significant had happened between her and Jason on Saturday night, just a nice little massage. I asked the key question, was she still the master of her domain. She said yes, which tells me there was more to that massage than she was willing to admit.

Eva Macy showed up to join us for brunch. The smile on her face told volumes, things had gone well between her and Donivan Kline. He was the next person to arrive and I read a lot in their body motions. Eva was doing the right things, being honest with Donivan, but not letting him score quickly. They were seen having dinner together alone on Tuesday night at Del Posto.

On Wednesday night I headed for Creative Arts Theatre and Rachel's Friends play. Donivan played Ross, his first venture out on the stage. He did really well and will be playing Oliver in next week's Sex and the City play I understand. His new girlfriend, Eva Macy was in the audience and they left together after the play.

I learned from an anonymous source that the piers at Brooklyn Heights are now owned by D'Amelio Properties, LTD. I'm trying to find out who manages that firm. Maybe Ben or Cameron Diaz can tell me.

On Friday evening's breaking news, Victor Watters, the coach of Columbia University women's volleyball team, was arrested by Chris Meloni and charged with the murder of April Storm. Judge Gamble held the arraignment on Saturday and although Nelle Porter spent all day interviewing various members of the volleyball team, she couldn't keep Victor in jail.

She charged him with murder in the 2nd degree, but Tara Wilson insisted that Victor be released on bail since all the evidence the police had collected only proved that Victor had indeed had consensual sex with the victim, April Storm, the night of the murder. Victor claims he left his lover satisfied and happy in bed and somebody else must have strangled her after he left. This will definitely be an interesting case.

I headed for the Four Seasons Club that night where Rachel showed up with Jon Bon Jovi. Jon was in town for a concert and he always calls Rach for a date when he's around. She said she would be skipping our Sunday morning walk in Central Park, supposedly because of the rain and foul weather. Jon just smiled as Rach made excuses.

Eva Macy was there having dinner with our mutual friend, Donivan Kline. He showed up shaved and with a haircut, looking pretty damn dapper. They ordered drinks then went off to a table alone to eat. I have to wonder just how long that relationship might last, because historically, Eva has been pretty loose.

That Anthony fellow showed up again at the bar grumbling about having to cough up twelve dollars for his Johnnie Walker Black double shot. I guess the extra four dollars is a tip since it's four dollars for each shot of liquor, and three bucks for each glass of wine or bottle of beer. Mila Kunis, the new call girl that Tammi hired, walked in, sat down beside Anthony and swiped his drink. I really need to find out who this Anthony fellow is.

Bobby Campbell showed up and started hitting on me since I was the only single female at the bar. He invited me back to his place, but I insisted we better go to my Plaza Hotel room since I still needed to wrap up my column and fax it in. He's always good for a smile or two.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, April 26th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Sex and the City - All That Glitters. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom, unless Rachel once again needs me in the cast.
