This afternoon I made 10000 pieces of peppermint candy, with help from Merci, by the middle of the hand I hope to have the remaining batches made up and ready for migration.

Used about half the thralls Ubar said I could and unpacked, checked, discarded, replaced and repacked items into the medkits that will be underneath every wagons seat during migration.  The medkits have been replaced where they belong and are ready for use.

With george helping and guiding the remaining thralls who were not being helpful in the medical wagon tending to other things that are needed to be done, they made the remaining peppermint candies.. We should now have enough to last until we reach Turia and possibly further...

While they were making the candies, I was busy working in the medical wagon making up the powder to give to the Outriders, ASKARI, and other men of camp who are in need of it to help with the severe heat rash, and severe saddle sores...

There is also half the amount of bergament salve finished, but this is only to be given to the men if the powder is ineffective, they are to use the powder... And they must come to see either Amber, Shoko or myself to get the salve, as we have to determine if the rash or sores are caused by something else other than the heat...

Items made during the past 3 days:

July 24, 2010

** 100 containers of rendered bosk fat (each container holds 20 lbs (earth weight))

July 25, 2010

** 150 small jars of black pepper (the jars have a rep cloth cover over the holes that are drilled into the lids. The cloths will keep the pepper from spilling out into the medical packs and Healer bags)

** 150 jars of Honey Based Agrimony/Bluegrass Salve

** 300 jars of bosk lard based Agrimony

July 26, 2010

** 200 jars of honey based Agrimony salve

** 150 jars of bosk lard based Agrimony/Bluegrass salve

** 300 jars of bluegrass salve

(More to follow)

I have cleaned out the medical chamber supplies, removed vials, jars and containers of items that were no longer viable, as well as shifted supplies that have to be used immediately or in the near future to the inner circle medical and surgical wagons. As soon as I am able to begin work on replenishing supplies in the medical chamber, inner circle medical and surgical wagons and outer circle medical wagon.

*The cleaning of the medical chambers in DRAGONSLAIR was done two weeks ago, I am a little late in posting this, but I got it up when I remembered*

Seems I keep forgetting to post things in this section, so I am going to try and fix this quickly. (Thankfully I scri0pt eve4rything, so I have a date and time I did the chore, need to put a reminder down so I can get back into the habit again) -a couple of loose blond strands that fall after I place this little note in the logbook-

Restocked the Medwagon and Surgical wagons, and organized the freight wagon with any leftover stock so we can find everything when it is time to re-stock again.

Made a batch of green powder and bosk fat salve for those with frostbite. There are 48 jars left and I have plans on making more before we begin migration, as well as making jars of bosk fat to help keep the skin protected during migration.

Made fifty bottles of tassa solution.

Filled 75 syringes with tassa solution as it should be enough to get us through the rest of Migration.

Note I said SHOULD.

Before the medical wagons were brought into camp, I was able to get 200 vials of valerian made.
