This Week's Gossip
Normally, there's nothing better than waking up early in the Big Apple, slipping into running gear, and hurrying over to Central Park where Rachel and others like to run or fast walk every day. After getting in bed early last Saturday night I was wide awake at 6:30 in the morning but it looked quite dark and I could hear the rumbling of thunderstorms and hard rain on the window pains.

No running that day and, in fact, no running this week until Saturday when the sun finally peeked out. The weather announcers were in their glory, talking about flooding and the sad loss of lives throughout the entire East Coast. Some major highways were closed and it was sad to read about a man drowning as he tried to save his girlfriends little boy. Tough week.

I worked out over at the Carnegie Hill Spa with Rachel and, of course wrapped that up with one of Jason Maloney's fantastic massages. Mr. Magic Hands sure does know how to release stress and tension in a female's body. Mmmmm!!!

On Wednesday night I sat in the back row and watched Rachel's Friends play until Rach called me up to replace Ara as Phoebe. I like that blonde wig and thought about stealing it. That new actress did a fine job as Rachel Green.

Next week Rachel will be offering a game night since it's the 4th of July and lot's of people travel. Diego says he'll shift the board meeting back a week and he'll rent a yacht so we can watch the fireworks from the river. That sounds like a fun evening and I expect a decent crowd on the boat.

Last year we watched the fireworks from the roof of Carnegie Hill and Ben Bravio took me home that night. He's a pretty cool dude.

On Saturday there was a nice little crowd at the Central Park barbeque offered by Bobby Campbell. Lot's of his models were there wearing skimpy bikinis which drew a lot of guys. They had several kegs of beer to go with the hot dogs and hamburgers and Rach and I were pretty well on our way to drunkville by the time we left.

We headed for the Four Seasons where we continued drinking beer at the bar. Donivan Kline and Ella Ricci walked in and joined us for the evening. She's the lady that backs the ASPCA organization in New York City.

Doni took me out on the dance floor just as Jason Maloney showed up. Rachel says that Jason and Ella seemed to hit it off right away and Jason has promised Ella a free massage. Trust me, once Jason lays his hands on her she'll become another regular there at the Carnegie Hill Spa.

Rachel was pretty tipsy by that time so Doni and I dropped her off at The Hill before we headed back to my place. I did manage to restrain him until I faxed in my column.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, July 5th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Have You Ever? It's a game I plan to attend.
