: she spoted the boy outside the wagon, he was playing with other boys of his age, he didnt look to bad the healers had done a good job on him, smiling softly she calls to him, she watches as he spins round and spots her, the boy came running over to her, ello boy bitsy see that you doing good, she is pleased

: bitsy has found the sleen that did this to you boy and has come as promised to get you so that you might kill it, are you ready to do such, she saw a look of fear cross his face but for a moment then he nodded and said he was ready, smiling down out him she took his hand and walked over to the wagon, slip in and tell your Mother where you are going then boy and with who, no one had seen this side of bitsy it very rarely came out, she was the hard one living off the plains looking after the herds

: the boy returns from inside the wagon with his Mother, bitsy smiled up to Her before taking the boys hand in hers, with the dead thrall slang over her other shoulder they walk out of camp and into the plains

: after a few hours of walking they come to a gully, there was prints of sleen in the soft mud, she laid the dead thrall out on the grass in the gully, asking the boy to use his knife to cut some more holes in the thrall, he bent down and did so that more blood would seep out and the smell carry to where she knows the sleen is resting, she had tracked him for weeks and had finely found his lair

: once the body was ready she took the boy and led him away from the gully, there was a place nearby they could hide and still see the body, they would watch for the sleen coming out, lifting a bota of water up she pulls the cork and offers it to the boy first, once he had drank she took a drink of the water and then recorked the bota, she handed the boy some bread and bosk meat, now boy we must be quiet and just bide our time, the sleen will come

: as bitsy and the boy eat they watched the body of the dead thrall, she knew thalls had to be useful for something just didnt know what till now, dusk was coming down when they heard the first movement of the sleen, the boy stiffen when he heard it, bitsy patted his hand to reasure him, soon they could see the sleen slinking up to the body, it was the sleen that had mauled the boy

: lifting the boys bow and handing it to him so that he could kill the sleen smiling down to him crawling foreward quietly so as the sleen does not hear them, she looks down to see that the boy had put arrow to string and was taking aim, he lets go the arrow and it flys straight into the sleens head smiling to him she says come on boy you can put the killer arrow in, the sleen was rolling about the ground, the pain it sufficed greater then that of the boy, he lifts the bow and puts another arrow into the string and lets it fly straight for the sleens heart, it went in deep and hard, the sleen shivered once then lay dead

: there you go boy the sleen that mauled you is now dead by your hand, patting the boy on the back as she pulls the arrows out and hands them to the boy to put away, she lifts the sleen to her shoulders and they start back to camp, the boy was happy and talked a lot about the kill, bitsy was happy cos she had kept her promise from months ago when the sleen had first attacked the camp and mauled the boy, it wouldnt be doing it again, they reached camp quicker then it had took to get to the gully, funny that it was always the same, laughing she walks into the camp with the boy, the sleen over her shoulders, the boy carrying his bow, they walked to the main fire and bitsy threw the sleen to the ground
