This Week's Gossip
Last Saturday night I spent with Rachel, Diego and Mike at Diego's place playing Texas Hold'em. We drank beer and swore a lot like real heavy duty gamblers, just relaxing since the Doll Man was in jail. Rachel won about three hundred dollars and had one of those smug "I told you so" faces as we headed for bed. We all stayed over at his huge brownstone, Rachel and Mike sharing one of the guest bedrooms. She said she intended to pay Mike based upon his performance.

I attended the arraignment of Harry Wagner in Judge Gamble's courtroom on Monday. That morning Nelle Porter officially charged him with the murder of Donna Deere and the assault of me last Friday night. He plead not guilty of the murder case but accepted that assault charge, saying he was merely copycatting the recent murder to gain sexual favors.

Two days later he accepted a plea bargain after Nelle advised him that DNA samples obtained at the Deere murder scene did indeed match his. After examining the exhumed body of Harry's previous wife, they also now believe that she was killed with a blunt object before Harry pushed her down the stairs of their home. It seems that he caught her messing around with a man she worked with.

Judge Gamble sent him to Bellevue Hospital where he'll remain in custody in the highly guarded psychiatric asylum ward while doctors try and correct his serious problems. Finally, the Doll Man was confined and we can go back to enjoying our worry free lives.

On Wednesday night I played Joyce in one of Rachel's Seinfeld productions, the one called The Contest where they wager over who can last the longest with out conducting self gratification. One of Seinfeld's funniest plays and funnier yet with all the adlibs tossed in.

I spent Saturday night having dinner with Diego at the Del Posto restaurant and catching a movie we both wanted to see. Over coffee back at his place he told me that he'll be backing Ana Demetrius in her efforts to win the Long Island council seat. They met a few days ago in his Bergen Hunt and Fish Club office to work things out. I've only met her twice, but I've seen her in all the fashion magazines, one sexy, long legged female.

This Sunday the New York Giants have a bye week so I can watch the games at Diego's without all that screaming and swearing for a change.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, October 4th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Sex and the City - Ring a Ding Ding. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom.
