This Week's Gossip
New York City can be beautiful in December, the stores in Manhattan loaded with buyers and those shop windows filled with Christmas displays. Once in a while we get a nice little snowfall, not the huge snowstorms that shut down the city, but just that nice look in the morning after a nice little inch or two.
That was the situation last week and I put on a comfortable warm jacket and boots and spent the morning walking around Times Square with my best friend, Rachel Tatellio. It was too cold and snowy to run so we walked around looking in all the various store windows.
At least Diego returned Sunday night a happy camper since our Giants beat Carolina 27-13. He never discusses his affairs with his women and I'm really not sure what might have happened since it was the first time he took Ana Demetrius along. Ana is the new councilwoman out on Long Island and Diego has indeed added her to the Genovese Enterprises board of directors. I sure hope they both had a "good time".
This past Wednesday night Rachel's play was the one where Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza, Elaine Benes and Cosmo Kramer can't find their car in that mall parking garage. I laughed my butt off in my back row seat, especially when Tim, as Jerry, got caught peeing behind a few parked cars. Of course, Doni as George, followed suit.
Mia Moore, one of the Four Seasons Supper Club bartenders told me that Rachel finally met her favorite singer, Jon Bon Jovi, when he entered the bar. They chatted for a long time according to Mia, and sure enough they were both back there the next night dancing. Mia said they left together using the door that led over to the Four Seasons Hotel.
I confronted Rach the next day but she refused to comment. Good for her. I wouldn't even have mentioned this in my column IF Rachel wasn't seen in Boston on Saturday night on Jon Bon Jovi's arm as he addressed the press after the concert. I checked and there was no room registered in her name at the Eliot Suite Hotel. Where did she sleep?
Since Diego was still spending time with Ana and Rachel was in Boston, I spent Saturday night in my favorite chat room, The Pleasure Palace. It's always fun. Try it some night when you're bored.
Entertainment
This Wednesday night, December 20th at 9:30 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Christmas Truth or Dare. Standard game rules but all the questions must revolve around the holiday season. Sounds like fun to me, so come if you can.
