Wagon Preparations Begun PreMigration

all three of My wagons checked...personal..forge and freight..

-wheels-brakes and couplings cleared of ice..washed down..cleaned regreased and orders given to be checked each day for icing and cleared

-chains/reins checked and repaired and oiled and placed in dry storage in preparation for move

-bosk checked..horns and hooves cleaned..hides brushed and cleaned...eyes..noses and ears checked all bosk in good health and ready for move..orders given for them to be checked each day before the move and a half extra ration of sweet grain to be given to them every other day

-roofs of all three wagons checked for tears..leaks..loose edges..all sections tended..repairs started to loose parts and hides already cut for the bad sections to be mended

-wheel rims tended..all leather that is cracked or torn replaced and mended..spokes checked for weaknesses and if any found replaced or bolstered until turia where a new wheel can be procurred

-extra sacks of dung stored...water stored within the wagon and secured tightly to prevent it freezing and/or moving about during the move within the freight wagon

-wagon seat..box..couplings..joints and holdings checked for weaknesses and all exterior panelling secured and rebolstered

-all crates..tools..weapons..supplies double secured within all three wagons in preparation of the move

i checked and sealed the roofs of three wagons, including the kennel wagon, i had also collected several bags of dung
