Hmm.. let's see... well, Kym got her 4 month boosters... all 4 of em, so we were CRABBY for several days, and really not feeling good at all. But, she got the green light to start on solids. So far we've had squash, applesauce, peas, and peaches. She's not fond of peas at all. I'm hoping that carrots will go over a bit better. *chuckles*
The weather here has been cold... mega cold for here. Last night we went down to 10, which is very unusual. Because of this, and to make sure I don't get sick, I've been hibernating and going to bed early. Plus, I've been getting some things done around the house, and there are some things I really only want to accomplish after she goes to bed.. .like bathroom cleaning, so that she's not around the chemicals at all. Roy comes home either thursday or friday... at least, that's what it looks like as of this evening. This could change depending on how long it takes to fill them in louisianna, and if they have to wait at anchor in Florida before going into dock. Either way, he should be home before sunday.. YAAAY!! He'll be home for the Game!! But it also means that I'm in last minute cleanup mode. *chuckles* It's not too bad, all Ihave left is to unearth the table and clean the kitchen. After he's been home for a few days, he's more than willing to let me go out some night BY MYSELF!!! without a kid!!!! to do something ADULT!! *faints* We're also planning on fixing and painting the livingroom walls. Being in a house that is over 50 years old means there are some settling cracks, and potential buyers HATE seeing those cracks. Since we're hoping to be out of here in about 5 years, we're looking at getting some of these things done NOW, so that we can enjoy the upgrades while we're still living here. After painting the nursery, Roy has agreed that maybe colour onthe walls isn't such a bad thing... all I know is that while he's thinking this way I'm jumping on it! I HATE plain white walls. I'm hoping over the next year to get not only the living room painted, but the spare room and office as well... that way all the walls will get fixed as well. Should be loads of fun!
Anyway, once he's home hopefully I can come in more often since he says he's willing to get up with Kym sometimes in the mornings,whichs means I can sleep in! Which means I can stay up later! *laffs* So until then...
