This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday, after sleeping in my own bed, I awoke cheerful, slipped into my running shorts and a tee shirt to join Rachel and Tammi in Central Park for our normal fast walk while we talked.
The morning news on CBS was all about the second attack by that serial rapist that's apparently focusing on Columbia University female students. Chris Meloni didn't identify either of the victims by name, but my secret sources told me that this time it was Rachel Adams that was raped in her own women's dorm room.
All of the details were starkly similar to the attack on Tiffany Farina, the victim subdued by chloroform just as she unlocked the door to her room. The big question is, how did the man get in the women's dorm and station himself up there in the 2nd floor hallway without being seen?
Special Victims Unit (SVU) Detective Olivia Benson is once again warning female students in the entire New York City area to be careful until this man is caught.
I finally got to just sit in the back row of Creative Arts Theatre on Tuesday night and watch Rachel's Friends play. Since Rachel was playing Rachel Green, I sat beside her latest flame, Jon Bon Jovi. We both laughed a lot at the adlibs and tossed in a few of our own. Will was there as usual, constantly teasing Dami. It was a fun night.
I did get to spend a little more time with Michael Morris, PhD, the man that plays guitar and sings without pay at the Four Seasons Supper Club. I think he might be a psychiatrist, but I'm not sure. I also met a guy named Adrian Vasquez at the Four Seasons Supper Club bar on Friday night.
Mia Moore tells me that both Michael Moore and Adrian Vasquez showed up again on Friday night. Moore sat in one of the back booths working on some files while Samantha sang four songs in an outstanding fashion.
Eva Macy sat at the bar asking questions about Michael, then managed to learn that Vasquez is a fashion accessory designer specializing in sunglasses. He said he's designed brands for Versace, Prada, and Chanel.
I spent Saturday night watching Monk and Psyche with my best male friend, Diego. I'm sure I'll be sharing breakfast with him on Sunday morning while reading this column out loud to him.
