This Week's Gossip
Diego was already gone last Sunday morning when I awoke. I dressed hurriedly in running gear and just made it over to Central Park to meet Rachel and Tammi for our morning run. Rachel was bubbling all over about her potential trip to New Jersey in October to attend Bon Jovi's concert.
I asked her if her traveling will affect her Tuesday evening plays. She's planning to stagger her plays a bit, alternating weeks like she's been doing during the summer. In a late minute decision she moved the next play to September 18th since Tim will be away Monday through Wednesday.
It was Wednesday night that I returned to my Plaza Hotel suite. I remember seeing a young lady sitting on the 15th floor bench as I walked down the hall to my door. I felt an arm go around me and a cloth placed over my face.
I woke up in my bed, naked! Standing at the foot of the bed was a naked man wearing a George Bush mask. I tried to move but realized I was tied down to the bed, head and foot with a gag in my mouth. When he laughed and suggested that I lay still and enjoy it, I realized it had to be the infamous serial rapist I'd been writing about.
He seemed so calm and relaxed as he crawled up between my legs and whispered that he planned to try and impregnate me with his potent seed. I knew I was on the pill, but the very thought of what was happening excited me. He was quite pleased with his efforts when he managed to get me off not once, but twice, saying that just might do the trick.
He left the bedroom and I guess he dressed out front and left. It was over an hour before the police arrived with one of the hotel security people. Chris Meloni helped untie me and removed the panties that my attacker used as a gag.
Olivia helped me get dressed in private, then they took me up to the Columbia Medical Center where they performed a rape kit test. The test results were negative so he failed to knock me up, but the semen did match that of the previous rape cases.
I under stand that this maniac had set up a video camera and taped the entire affair. The police are holding that in confidence and refused to let me see it.
Diego is furious. First his daughter and now me. He's assigned Jason, Eoin and Furio to watch over us both until this serial rapist is apprehended. I'm not real pleased with these watch dogs because it will severely limit my sources of information for this column.
I did manage to learn that LizBeth Nickles will now be featured in the October InStyle magazine's hair column, including Clairol's full page add. Bobby said she signed a one year contract with him where he'll also act as her agent.
Samantha is back in town and will resume her singing role at the Four Seasons Supper Club next week. I chose to stay home with Diego on Saturday night and I understand from Rachel that she and Jon enjoyed a nice evening at the Four.
Entertainment
Creative Art Theatre will be dark this week and will return on September 18th with Sex and the City.
