This Week's Gossip
Diego woke me up early last Sunday morning and we had breakfast in the kitchen nook. Furio had the limo waiting and we were soon on our way over to New Jersey and the Meadowlands. Diego has a suite there and often invites guests like Mike Miller.
Mike had recently helped Genovese Construction Inc. obtain a large portion of the New Freedom Tower Project in Manhattan, so he was invited to join us. The football game was brutal, the New York Giants losing to the Green Bay Packers led by Brett Favre, 35-13. On the ride home Diego said the Giants had so many injuries on week one that he really didn't expect a win. This coming week the Giants travel to Washington, D.C. to play the Redskins. Diego will be flying down there alone since I really think he'll be way too irritable for me.
On Tuesday night I attended Rachel's Sex and the City play. With LizBeth Nickles in her very first role as Miranda Hobbs and Samantha Emeris back to play Charlotte, this turned out to be a great play. I swear Samantha was blushing half the night as Charlotte had to deal with fellatio.
Liz loves Miranda and has asked Rachel to give her Miranda from now on. In The Monogamists, Miranda tried to play with poor Doni as Skipper. At least Skipper got laid. Nice going, Doni!!
On Saturday I spent the evening with Liz, helping her find a nice one bedroom apartment. I used my influence with Diego and the help of Beth Clark, to get Liz settled into a third floor apartment in Carnegie Hill. Liz loved the place and at only $1500 a month, I think she can afford it now that Bobby Campbell is getting her magazine ads.
Once we had her moved, with Donovan Kline's assistance, we headed over to the Four Seasons for a glass of wine. I was surprised to see Mike Miller there with Rachel. Mike picked up the tab for everybody and we had a pleasant evening. Liz and I jokingly played the role of two bi-sexual females out on an evening of fun.
A tall, dark and handsome man named Thomas popped in late in the evening and I watched Liz drooling over him. I tried to obtain more information from him, but he only gave us his first name. Rachel left the Four holding hands with Mike, so I guess that little relationship isn't totally dead. Can Miss Innocence really love two men? I can't really answer that question, but we'll see.
