This Week's Gossip
Last Saturday night I stayed over at Diego's place and on Sunday night he took me to the Meadowlands where we watched the New York Giants beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 16-3. Without their star, Brian Westbrook, the Eagles were struggling.
I attended Rachel's Will & Grace play on Tuesday night. They had a full cast so I was able to just sit in my normal back row seat and enjoy the humor. The gay jokes were cute. The banter between Tim and Rachel as Will and Grace was clever. Grace had moved just across the hall so they were "apart". Hell, he was sitting around naked in his apartment and she kept walking in and out, even using his shower.
Late in the week Chris Meloni and the NYPD used a search warrant to arrest Eddie Woods in his dorm room. It's hard to believe that cute little Eddie was the serial rapist, the man that tied me to my bed and tried to knock me up. I attended the arraignment where Eddie pleaded guilty to molesting twelve women. He claims that his inability to even get a date drove him out of his mind. Judge Helen Gamble sent him to Bellevue where he'll be examined by their psychiatrists before she sentences him.
I spent Saturday night at the Four Seasons as usual where Mia Moore was tending bar and Samantha Emeris was entertaining the full house dinner crowd. I was joined at the bar by a very nice gentleman and we watched the fuss that occurred after Sam finished her song
It turned out to be her father and a social worker and although we couldn't hear everything, we knew Sam was very upset and angry. Apparently it had to do with Sam's son, Devin. I did ask Sam if she needed some help, because Diego has a lot of clout in New York City. She said she might speak with Diego if the situation grew worse.
The nice gentleman invited me to accompany him in his Bentley to take a look at his Upper West Side brownstone. It was a beautiful home, but after sharing a couple cognacs, I had to leave. I knew I'd better be home when Diego picked me up for the Giants' game with the Jets on Sunday morning.
