This Week's Gossip
I love New York City. Last Sunday I woke up early, slipped into some running sweats and met Rachel in Central Park to speed walk. Our conversation ran all over the map. We talked about the new people that we've both met at the Four Seasons Supper Club. Samantha's old high school friend, Ginny Fielding, and that writer, Seamus Clark. Both interesting people that came to the Big Apple hoping to further their careers.

Rachel and I both know just how hard it is to get started here having done that years ago after graduating from college. My first job was a runner in the press room of the National Inquirer. Maybe that was what led me into my career as a gossip columnist, out on the streets looking for information for the actual writers. I made a lot of contacts out there that still serve me well in obtaining information before others have it.

Rachel was lucky. She was writing plays that she tried to sell to the various Off-Broadway theaters. She bumped into Diego Farina, the CEO of Genovese Enterprises, one night in the Four Seasons Supper Club and he took an instant liking there. Rachel says it might be because she didn't put out, no matter how hard he tried to get in her pants. Diego saw her talents and offered to buy and refurbish Creative Arts Theatre. He's the silent partner in the profits they make there.

It was because of her that I met Diego. I'm not a prissy female like Rachel and Diego and I hit it off immediately. We've been close ever since. He can provide me with tons of information that I couldn't get without him. In return, I refrain from printing anything that Diego doesn't want released.

Saturday night I met a lady named Rosalia Valente at the Four Seasons and I liked her immediately. She's attending Juilliard, now located at Lincoln Center, and trains in the fields of dance, drama  and music. Her mother, Marilyn Parrish, actually is opening a night club called Escapades and I've been invited to attend the grand opening next Saturday night. Rosalia works there tending bar and entertaining.

I danced with Eoin Ryan and Rachel danced with her old flame, Mike Miller, while Samantha sang on stage. Seamus Clark also arrived and drowned his loneliness in beer since Ginny was at home with the flu. There was a guy named DJ Hank there, late in the evening pushing his radio station. Eoin and I shared a taxi to the Plaza Hotel and I talked him into staying the night and a nice personal massage.

Entertainment
This Tuesday night, November 13th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Sex and the City - Three's a Crowd. I'll be there in case she needs me to cover a role.
