This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday I forced myself to get up early and go fast walk with Rachel Tatellio in Central Park. It wasn't easy after staying up until after two in my favorite chat room, the Pleasure Palace.
I did watch the Giants game on TV and they beat the Bears, 21-16. That means Diego will be back on Monday, happy as a clam.
On Wednesday, I sat in the courtroom as Judge Helen Gamble officially sentenced Anthony Emeris to twelve years in prison for the abduction of his six year old grandson, Devin. The sentence was reduced significantly when Anthony's lawyer, Denny Crane of Crane, Poole & Schmidt, managed to convince the Feds to drop the kidnapping charges. Denny is always fun to watch up there clowning around with the judge.
I'm finishing this column from Diego's suite in the Park Hyatt Hotel in Philadelphia where on Sunday we'll be watching our New York Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles. At 8 and 4 the Giants need this win to make the playoffs this year. I'm surprised that Diego took me along after I chose not to attend last Sundays game and his Giants beat the Bears in Chicago. AmI a lucky piece? We'll see today.
Rachel called me when she returned to her Carnegie Hill penthouse after spending the evening in the Four Seasons Supper Club. She said that Samantha showed up and sang three songs beautifully. It appears that she's finally relaxed with her father sent off to Attica, at least for the next twelve years.
Angela Black arrived on the arm of wealthy Thomas Jones. Mike Miller was there in casual clothing and that cute long hair that he's now sporting. Although Rachel never admitted that she likes the long hair, she did catch a taxi with Mike as she left.
She said that Seamus Clark was at the bar, joking around with Mia Moore who tended bar, but he was much quieter than usual. I miss those Saturday nights at the Four or Mahoney's, but my evening out with Diego was worth the trip.
Entertainment
This Tuesday night, December 11th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Sex and the City - The Rabbit. I'll be there in case she needs me to cover a role.
