what else can go wrong??

well lets just say on tuesday night i think my emotional state was being tested as I was warned by my dad that I might be getting my sixty day notice from work on wednesday morning as they are downsizing the company (even thou we made like over 2 billion last year, ya konw high ppl need a raise so fire the low ppl)....well that had me in tears for an hr then on my way home from work i blew a tire...well that did not help at all....then ya know from the stress i started having pain in my tummy and that freaked me out... not a good night for me...got very little sleep....

wednesday morning i went in at 8am for my meeting and yep i got my 60 day notice so now i am 19 weeks prenant have no job at the end of march... who is really going to want to hire a woman who is over 7 1/2 months pregnant....

but i did go to the dr yesterday and get checked out and all is good with baby...i am just counting down the days until february 12 to find out if its a boy or girl b/c its about to kill me not to know.... i so want to buy something for the baby....

but well at my dr's appt i felt better and have accepted that things happen for a reason and i am just going to have to decide if i want to try and find another job or just wait until after i have the baby to start a new job.... decisions decisions...guess it just depends on if my parents and roommate will support me for three months...lol....(winks winks his way....) I doubt I would know what to do with all that time off...maybe get my garden fixed and redone....giggles...

well i am heading to Flordia for the weekend to get out of this town and have some fun...baby's daddy's family wants to take us shopping so we will see how that goes...man i so want to know the sex...

Lana  my thoughts and prayers are with you hon.... I know what you are going through.. with the exception of I did not get a 60 day notice..  I walked into work the friday after christmas... and at time to clock out and go home was told I no longer had a job to come to on the grounds of there just wasn't enough work for us all. so last hired.. first fired.  I am still interviewing and hopefully will have something positive to post soon.   the only advice I will give you is do what you know in your heart and mind to be right for you and the baby.. and yes I agree with woobie... please be a girl tuchuk.

Lana, Baby, I am so sorry. -hugs- When it rains it pours it seems, and I don't know a nicer person that unfortunately has to deal with all of these upheavals in such a short time.  Just know that in just a few short weeks, you will know whether you are ushering a perfect little girl, or a perfect little boy into the world.  I know the feeling of wanting to buy something for a baby, that you have no idea the sex for. -lol- I finally caved in and bought an asexual soft toy for either a boy or a girl and that tided me over for some time until October when I found out I was having a bouncing baby boy.  As for the job.  Were you there long enough for unemployment?  If so, then during the time while you recover after March, and while you have the baby, and for a bit after that, you can at least cover some things, and since your roommate is such a nice guy, and couldn't possibly kick out a woman who is 7 1/2 months pregnant, I am sure he will help as much as he can...And if he doesn't, I don't think he'll survive the punishment come July when he shows up for Gathering.

At any rate, things have a way of working themselves out, and they will work out.  You just focus on breathing slowly, and being happy and healthy for that little lump growing inside of you. -s-

~huggles you~ though we haven't met, except for a brief time in camp, and even then I don't think we really got to interact, I can tell that you are a sweet and loving person... but what has been said before me, you have a wonderful support group with your second family here, along with a really nice roommate, and I echo what Amber said, if he kicks you out, he's not going to have a good Gathering experience this year... ~snickers~ Though I don't see him kicking anyone out of his place when they are down and out, and expecting... ~smiles~

As for not being able to wait til the time you find out if you are going to have a boy or a girl, try getting something like Amber did, a stuffed animal or toy, that will help you get through the 3 or 4 weeks until you find out... Though I do have a request, when you find out, and decide the colors you are going to want to use for the theme of your baby, let me know... One of the things I have done for all my friends and family when they announced they were pregnant, was make them a baby blanket, either crocheted, or quilted... though right now, I am working on two crochet blankets, one for Amber and another for a very close friend of mine... ~huggles you gently~ Things will work out for you in the end, and you might find that your next job might be the best thing that has ever happened to you, next to becoming a mother...

Look into the unemployment benefits.... take one thing at a time.... get plenty of pedicures from "S" in all that spare time he has. *chuckles*
