We had a nice group in attendance this month including Mike Miller, Davis Dewher, Ana Demetrius , Angela Black and Carly Carpenter.

I introduced Ms. Carpenter  who will be serving as the temporary councilwoman in the Bronx, She will be running for that seat in November just like the rest of the council people. As always, Genovese Enterprises is here to help. We discussed many options where I can show up  in support of their campaigns.

Ana stated that the fireside chat she ran with Mike on Long Island in January went really well. The group agreed that  they will start doing that every month, each one in a different borough? Each of us can attend as often as we can.

David Dewher gave us a nice update  on the Biofuels project. He reinforced  the political value this might have on their elections.

We're off to a brand new year and January's numbers are in and I'm pleased to state that they are all excellent. The Refuse Removal Inc. numbers are right on schedule and the Genovese Construction Inc. numbers are up as expected with the expanding construction force on the Freedom Tower job in Manhattan, the new Yankee stadium in the Bronx humming along, and the work force increasing on the Long Island City Hall.

The Bayway Conoco Phillips Refinery Upgrade and the Eagle Point Refinery Upgrade are winding down, but Bruce Wilonski used our capabilities on those projects to win us the Chevron Refinery Upgrade just down the road.  Adam Kaufman will be initiating that 50 million dollar job this month.
