This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday was the big day, the Super Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona. Diego and I picked up Rachel Tatellio and Jon Bon Jovi at the airport and hurried to the University of Phoenix Stadium and our seats in the Bellagio's luxury suite.
What a fantastic game! I sat there on the edge of my seat, even jumping up and screaming on occasion as the game between our Giants and the Patriots rolled on. With just over two minutes left Tom Brady found Randy Moss in the end zone to take a 14 to 10 lead and I feared for the worst, but Eli Manning marched the Giants down the field, via some strange miracle plays, and hit Plaxico Burress in the corner for the game winning touchdown. Yes. our New York Giants won the Super Bowl!!
We attended a post game party and Diego had to drag me out of bed in the morning to catch the early morning flight back to New York City since he had a Genovese Enterprises board meeting scheduled for Monday night.
Tuesday night I watched Barbara Barton flirt with Seamus Clark at the Four Seasons bar. Katie Donovan, Samantha Emeris and even that Kat von D, the tattoo lad, were there. Kat suggested a tattoo for me, an angel and a devil on my back shoulder. Gee, do you think that adequately depicts me? Sam and I shared a taxi home and I watched as Seamus left with Barb. Could there be more than just some flirting going on there?
Rachel tells me she was at the Four on Wednesday night while Samantha and Seamus entertained the audience. Barbara Barton was there again, but this time flirting with a man named Carl Cameron. Turned out he's a romance novelist too, but Barb's husband refused to publish Carl's latest book. I guess Barb offered to read his manuscript next. Rach says Carl wrote some secret stuff on Barb's hands and they danced together, but Barb looked nervous when she declined to share a taxi with Carl and ran off alone. Seamus wasn't real happy with her.
Gina Reynolds, my paparazzi informant, sat in a dark corner booth of the Four Seasons Saturday night and watched Samantha sing two delightful songs. Rachel was at the bar with Barbara Barton, offering Barb a taste of her Kendall-Jackson chardonnay. Jon arrived at that point to keep Rach company.
Barb then made her way over to the table where Seamus was working away on his notebook. They exchanged quite a few words, but Gina failed to get any photos that clearly identified the fact that Barb was toying with Seamus. She did get one photo of Seamus kissing Barb on the cheek as she got in a taxi and rushed home alone.
Well, I'm very sure there is more to this story, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what develops.

This Tuesday night, February 12th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Sex and the City - The Ballgame. I'll be there in case she needs me to cover a role.
