Care to help?! July 7th Fingers Crossed
« on: May 14, 2008, 03:33:55 PM »
Yup that is the big day! I find out for sure tomorrow 05-15-08 What the baby is going to be and if those dates are correct... I'm sorry I haven't been in the room yet but I intend to be asap. I am learning everything I can though I already know alot... It never hurts to know more... Anyways I need help naming the baby, I need both gender names. I am not sure if it is a boy or girl yet. I want something original but easy to pronounce. Master and I have been looking at baby names for weeks and can't decide what we like. I really want an exotic name as both my childeren have original uncommon names. I don't think it would be fair to give him or her something that isn't unique... Hope to hear from you.

as for a girl.. i would say  sendel....a fine type of silk found in the middle ages
or arella.. which is.. i think.. Hebrew for angel

as for a boy.. well.. dakota is a great name (blush).. but also
Leonardo, Aaron, Comac, Poul , or..Orlando (see Aristo"s
The Fury of Orlando.

..you can not grasp it.

For a boy I have five suggestions, their meanings and their origins:

  • Jaden - Jehovah has heard - Hebrew
  • Aiden - Little fire. also doubles as a female name as well - Celtic
  • Caleb - Like the heart - Hebrew
  • Akira - Bright boy - Japanese
  • Killian also spelled as Cillian - Strife or battle Small; fierce - Irish

For a girl I have five suggestions, their meanings and origins:

  • Sophia - Wisdom - Greek
  • Riley - Rye. Form of Ryley - Irish
  • Adela - Peasant; Of the nobility. Nobile - German
  • Aiyana - Eternal blossom - Native American
  • Nevaeh - the word heaven spelled backwards - English

I hope some of these might help you in your decision... ~smiles softly~

We're taking in all suggestions right now but I don't think Ragnar would be happy if thats what i name the baby lol =) It's a boy!! but I have been in the hospital for the last two days and it looks like I'm having alot of complications right now. The amniotic (cant spell) fluid is way too low and they are worried I might have a still birth. We're praying for the best. Looks like I'm going to be in and out of the room even less now.. =(

-frowns- I am sorry things are going so rough with such a joyous occasion.  They should be able to take the baby early if your amniotic fluid is really too low for the pregnancy to continue, and they should be able to tell before hand whether the baby is living or not, hopefully everything works out well for you and the darling baby!

unfortunately i'm only 32 weeks along and the babys lungs aren't fully developed, I'm on strict bed rest and have to have a bunch of fluids.. They have me counting fetal movements and he is moving alot. REALLY alot lol Master has me tied to the couch or bed practically and i'm not allowed to leave it. I'm stuck crocheting until I get a clean bill. I hope things go good as well.

Thank You for Your prayers that means alot to me. *smiles softly*

Moving alot is a good sign.  Just keep to the bed and couch and drink..lots and lots and lots.  You only have a few more weeks to go until they can safely deliver the wee one!

update.. The non stress tests are once weekly and so far so good. I'm still chained to bed by Masters will lol.. I have another sono coming tues and we'll see if the fluid went up any... I sure hope so I've been drinking like a cow lately. I also have a blood test to see if I'm diabetic or not . *shakes her head with a sigh* turns out I failed the 1 hour and have to do a 3 hour test... It seems to be just one thing after another. I'm debating on just not going for any more appointments and stick it out.. After two girls a boy can't be much different.. of all the names Master likes Johney Tyler most lol. We'll see though..
