eating the fish first. it is a strange dish to me.. having hardly ever had any.. and harbouring some wild and unfounded ideas about it.. i take a small. expermental bite.. and to my suprise.. it is wonderful !.. before i know it.. i gobble up the succlent flesh..and glance at You with a guilty look

we camped along side the river bro, its where we keep most things now ie drinks and some foods as its so hot, bottles of drinks are in nets laying on river bed

while the river is much closer than the last camp.. (and considering how long it takes to get from the
center of camp to it's outskirts)..a day is  a far distance..  as you say it is hot and with no way to cool any fish.. they would have to be salted or smoked..which would involve a lot of labor

also..given the size of the camp.. vs. the size of the river..it may be quickly depleted

all of this may be why.. among other things.. that fish is not a main menu item
