Dear Diary,
Last night Lauren Bianchi and I had a nice little meeting with Detective Scotty Valens at the Four Seasons Supper Club where we discussed the current status regarding the murder of Big Apple Escort, Vanessa Phillips, and the missing Denise Jacobs.
So far it's been a blind alley. The various leads they've received haven't panned out, but Cody Boyd is a gentlemen of interest since he fed Lauren the information that led to finding the body.
I said I knew that this Cody Boyd had been living with Barbara Barton, but Barb said she introduced Cody to real estate agent, Beth Clark, who has found both a home and a business location for Cody over in Queens. I believe Cody is in the process of moving.
Lauren gave Scotty the names of three other escorts we haven't heard from for a while, Heidi Morgan, Amber Johnson and Brenda McBride. I said that I think Brenda was scared and might just have left the city until they catch the serial killer, but I can't be sure.
I agreed to provide the master key for the fourth floor at Carnegie Hill and walk Scotty through their rooms to see what we can learn that might be helpful.
