Thank you everyone! I had a fabulous bday. Last night, one of my friends and I did a Mommies Night Out (her little boy was at grandma and grandpa's), and we went out for supper, followed by an evening of Blackjack at one of the casinos. 5 dollar min bet.. we're SUCH big spenders *LOL*. She's a dealer at a different casino, (can't play at the casino you work at) and had been itching to go play... so we had fun. I won 6 bucks. *lol*
Then today, well.. the morning, kidlet decided to be as rotten as humanly possible...but after her nap this afternoon we all went to the new playground in town. To say it's amazing, is an understatement. One of the dad's there said that the whole thing cost the town $800,000... there are tubes to crawl in, monkey bars, ramps, at least 7 slides, a fake rock wall, just a ton of things for kids to play with... and the ground was covered in that mulched up tires that have become so popular, as well as a path of tougher foamlike stuff. Also, they had the swings.. of course... *chuckles* 2 buckets for toddlers, 4 straps for older kids, and.. this part I REALLY liked, 2 swings for handicapped children. Kidlet has decided that she's too big for teh toddler buckets, even tho she's only 21 months... and so she sat in the strap seat, and stayed ON! She fell off once, but immediately got up and got back on again. She's growing too fast. *sighs*
Anyway, needless to say, she had a WONDERFUL time there, got herself thoroughly worn out, and then we went to KFC for supper. That new smoked chipotle chicken is YUMMY!
So there ya have it... my bday *lol* And now, she's in bed, and I'm enjoying a plain cherry coke. I'm sooo boring. *laughs* Just didn't feel like alcohols today. And Hubby is outside cursing that his chainsaw is too old to show up on the "this chain is compatible with your chainsaw" charts.... we have a couple dead trees BEGGING to be chopped down before they fall down on the fence.
PS: Duckie.. I added pics to the facebook... finally... *lol* inlaws have been grouching.
