She hadn’t told anyone where she’d been, not even Diego had known. Her leave of absence sudden and unexpected, but she needed to go. Her sister had been killed in a car accident and it had hit her pretty hard, harder than she thought it ever would. She wondered about Ben, she hadn’t even told him, up and disappear is all she did without so much as a word to anyone except Diego who only knew she’d left and she’d made him swear not to say a word.
Stepping off the plane she stepped into the limo and headed to her apartment. A friend had been staying there while she was away and she’d had the cleaners come in and do a once over before she arrived. The maid had already gone shopping she knew and the place would be fully stocked though she’d proly go to the restaurant and get something to take home or eat there. She was missing everyone and missing the view of the city. It was time to come home, time to get on with her life once again. Madison was back home again.
