I may take you up on that in time. First my health must improve.

As much as I would love a "buddy" again, it would be irresponsible of me to get one. After all... such a thing IS a commitment that with luck and love can last over a decade. I want to be there for my buddy. I do not wish to leave yet another thing for woobie to deal with should I pass on. I would not want my buddy to face an uncertain future.

So I will be patient... hope for the best... and see what the future holds.

Owning a dog can actually help improve your health.  Helps lower stress & blood presuure.  Playing with the dog & taking the animal on walks is exercise & exercise helps improve your health. Sitting with & petting a dog has also helped some people manage pain. Just a thought....*s*
