you cant lock a thread cos of one person that is not fair on everyone else who has behaved on the thread, it is also making out that that one is more inportant then everyone else this is how i see it anyway, i may be wrong and if i am im sorry

Had it remained confined to only our Tuchuk board..... I would have likely allowed it to continue. However... it was taken outside of Tuchuk and it has now been made an issue.

i have never, said, thought, felt, dreamed, or fantasized that i was more important than anyone else here. yet when i try to express my opinion, since it is different from the majority, especially his, i was called names/labeled as immature.

it was 'behaving' as long as it was bashing the 'right' person, something i did not do with my av in any way. i am not the first woman who opposes his opinion to have a thread locked nor will i be the last

how have i hassled you? by asking for clarification on something i cannot understand? for asking for the same freedom of creativity that others have been allowed. by asking for the rules that you make?

You can never accept what you are told. You must always push an issue and try to find an answer that suits you. You had the same ability to post to the thread as everyone else... and were entitled to your opinion just as everyone else. You could have posted your av as a pic to the thread and been good to go. You could have listed each point of your favored candidate and debated every issue and stance there was. You failed to take advantage of the freedom you were given to do so. Aside from attacking someone for their point of view, the sky was pretty much the limit on the thread.

Instead of working within that area, you decided to take it beyond the thread and do what nobody else had done and created the board av which showed wherever you posted.

There are some here I am very close to that do not share my political views. We have debated our differences on Q and guess what..... we are still close. MALE AND FEMALE!!!

Thank you for twisting things around to the point that something I have worked hard for months to keep contained to one thread, to one area, got locked up. 

I had to beg.. literally.. beg, to get to post anything political to the Webmaze boards. Most people that know me would sit back and say.. whoa.. very surprised.. for while I r/p a slave on Gor, and while I am a submissive woman.. they have all heard me say the phrase "pack sand" enough that they know I would not beg for water in the middle of my 8th day lost in the Sahara desert. Finally, I was given the okay so long as it STAYED in that one place.. and no personal attacks were made on other posters.

Even though things got heated, we were all pretty much able to stay within the boundaries set forth.

Then you made your board avatar.. See, when you make a board avatar, it goes WHEREVER you post.. in whatever section to whatever thread.. That is how it violated the agreement.. NOT BECAUSE your opinion differed from anyone else's.. but because it was no longer contained in one area, to one section.

RAGS the Admin Guy was gonna lock the threads as soon as he saw it.. I talked with him at length, asked him to try one other avenue first.. He is reasonable. He agreed.  That avenue was to talk with you privately, explain the reason it needed to be changed, and because I thought you were a rational adult I hoped you would understand..  StuPid Me.

I even said to him.. hey, you and TT, both staff, have your football teams in your signatures.. He said.. yes, but that is football, and not something that we are trying to contain to one section of one board.

He was right.  So I left it alone..

I was SOOO proud of you when you changed your avatar to that girl bent over wanting the team to play with her.. He said he had spoken with you and I said, well it must have gotten through, because she did change her board avatar..

One of the big problems with typed communication over verbal communication is that as people we have grown more accustomed to voices, inflection, mannerisms, and tone in order to make our points as to whether something conveyed is serious, sarcastic, a joke, etc. It's quite possible from what I have read for a number of parties involved that things typed came across the wrong way, and as a family we should not allow this or any other trivialty to cause us to fight amongst each other.

While yes, disagreements do happen, when what it escalates over is trivial at best, that is when cooler heads should prevail and we should concentrate on the more important things in this life, and in the imaginary one we conjure for ourselves and emulate amongst each other for mutal enjoyment. Because that certainly won't be attained anywhere near this thread.
