Illinois is cold

I am back from seeing my Grammy for her 90th birthday.. Illinois is freakin cold!!  But my grammy is wonderful, and I got to meet my littlest nephew for the first time.. and he is a piece of work.. a true joy and Grammy loves him to pieces.. He also stole my penguin hat.. LOL

She said thank you for the birthday well wishes.. She had a lovely party and almost as much family showed up as shows up for the Family Reunions in Sept each year so it was really great.

Thanks to everyone who worried over Ubar while he lived on spaghettios and without his woobie for a long weekend. He survived it.. LOL

Sorry Amber..

My original plan had been to drive to Illinois and surprise Ubar and Bubby and you and my mini-me too by staying at it an extra day or two, leaving my Gramma's on Sunday and visiting y'all and then finishing the drive back on Monday... but that fell through and I ended up going alone and flying into Chicago and taking a bus to my Gramma's.... I didn't rent a car because that would have been a lot more money... so I pretty much relied on my Auntie to drive me around ...

I wanted to bring Ubar and see you, but it just didn't get to happen that way..

-gets all misty eyed because that woulda been an awesome surprise!  And I would have handed the baby over gladly and taken a "mommy break"-  He's teething.  Four teeth at once, two up top and two on the bottom.  You all would have had sooo much fun! -lol-  Though, doubt you all would have liked the stairs to get up to my apartment very much -wrinkles nose- Anyway!  I love you too for even thinking about sneaking Poppa to Illinois and coming by!
