... because ... well .... a LOT of things happened yesterday ....

...... some good and some bad things ...... like for one, we were involved in a car accident yesterday (no, not my new car..whew).....

and ...... I really need to save my pennies ..........................

because ........... 

~coughs~  because ...............................

in August, I'll be quite busy and in need of money because .................

first, I'll be going to either Hawaii ... (well, maybe Puerto Rico, that will be decided by mid-week)...........

and then planning two parties ...

a small one on the west coast.... and a big one on the east coast ....

because ..................

~coughs~

because ..................

~coughs~ 

I'm getting married.    ;D

Yep.  Y'all read that right.



After almost 10 years, the other half decided to give me the surprise of all surprises.  Of course, he said "let's get married today" and I probably should have booked the tickets to Vegas and said "let's go" right then and there (we were plagued by a malady of ills later -- like, being in a car accident for one) ... but then we decided to wait til he's off for his vacation in August, and by then I can take a few days off too, go to Hawaii, and on our way home, stop in CA to throw a small reception of my family and friends there, (or, go to Puerto Rico, then fly out to CA for the small reception there), and then back to NYC to have a large reception. 

~slips off to dial 9-1-1 for all the heart attacks I probably caused~

*grins*...seeing a bunch of Tuchuk Warriors and slaves crashing her wedding...kaiila jumping the buffet table....Master Kan bellowing for paga....the slaves dancing for the Guests...the urth people huddled in a corner....Master Pete collaring some poor second cousin of the groom.....
