Handling Weapons, Knives, and Coin

•As of 9/24/00 per the Ubar: "MTC KAJIRAE MAY TOUCH, HANDLE, AND USE WEAPONS AND TOOLS AS NEEDED WITHIN MTC. DO NAUGHT ASSUME YOU MAY DO SO ELSEWHERE. NEVER SEEM TO TAKE A THREATENING STANCE WITH ANY WEAPON OR TOOL. ALL WILL BE CARRIED BUSINESS END DOWN OR IN SUCH A WAY AS NONE MAY SEE IT AS EVEN THE SLIGHTEST THREAT. NO PERMISSION WILL BE NEEDED TO DO SO UNLESS PERMISSION IS ASKED SIMPLY TO BORROW A WEAPON OR TOOL FROM A FREE FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE."

•Kitchen knives are not considered a weapon and permission need not be asked prior to their use. Always wield them carefully to avoid any perception of intended threat or harm.

•MTC Camp slaves are not allowed to touch coin. If a Master or Mistress gives a slave money, the slave is to have the Master or Mistress place the coin into the slave's coin pouch or lay it upon the slave's outstretched tongue; in the latter instance, the slave will slip the coin to the pouch from his/her tongue. If slaves are thrown money (as in a dance situation), they are to retrieve the coins with their mouths and drop them to their pouch.
